Govt service at doorstep prog held

The district administration of Tirap conducted the Sarkar AapkeDwar (government at your doorstep) at Kheti village on Saturday. Over 865 beneficiaries from Kheti, Thinsa, Senliam and Lapnan villages benefitted from the camp.

Addressing the beneficiaries, DC Taro Mize briefed the concept and objectives of conducting SAD and the services being provided at the doorsteps through various departments and urged all the villagers to avail the PM/CM’s flagship schemes.

The chief, GBs and PRI leaders of Kheti village appreciated the district administration for conducting the camp in the remote corner of the district and providing services at their doorsteps.

Earlier, DC Taro Mize conducted a surprise visit to government primary schools at Tupi and Noksa and interacted with headmasters and students. The DC urged the school management committee (SMC) to keep a vigil on teachers’ attendance and inform DDSE in case of any teacher is found absent without prior information from SMC.
